Legal Entity Information
SendPit is a product owned and operated by Codebox. By using SendPit, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Codebox. All references to "we", "us", "our", "SendPit", or "the Company" in these Terms and Conditions refer to Codebox.

1 Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- • "Codebox" (also referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "the Company") refers to the legal business entity that owns and operates SendPit.
- • "SendPit" or "Service" refers to the email testing platform accessible at sendpit.com, including all associated features, tools, APIs, and documentation provided by Codebox.
- • "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
- • "Account" refers to the unique account created by a User to access and use the Service.
- • "Subscription" refers to any paid plan or tier that provides access to premium features of the Service.
- • "Content" refers to any data, emails, text, or materials transmitted through or stored on the Service.
2 Acceptance of Terms
2.1 By accessing and using SendPit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Codebox.
2.2 If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2.3 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2.4 You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
3 Description of Service
3.1 SendPit is an email testing platform developed and operated by Codebox, designed specifically for software developers and development teams. The Service enables users to capture, test, inspect, and debug emails during the software development process.
3.2 The Service provides:
- • SMTP endpoints for receiving and capturing test emails
- • Web-based interface for viewing and analyzing captured emails
- • Email content inspection and debugging tools
- • Team collaboration features for shared mailboxes
- • API access for programmatic integration
3.3 The Service is intended solely for development and testing purposes. It is not designed or intended to be used as a production email service or for sending emails to real recipients.
4 Account Registration and Responsibilities
4.1 To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information.
4.2 You are solely responsible for:
- • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- • All activities that occur under your account
- • Notifying Codebox immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach
4.3 Codebox reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.
5 Subscription and Billing
5.1 Subscription Plans: SendPit offers various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Details of available plans and pricing are available on our website.
5.2 Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected. The billing cycle begins on the date of your initial subscription purchase.
5.3 Automatic Renewal: Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same duration at the then-current price.
5.4 Price Changes: Codebox reserves the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated to existing subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5.5 Taxes: Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your subscription, except for taxes based on Codebox's income.
6 Payment Processing
6.1 All payments for SendPit subscriptions are processed through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized payment processor and Merchant of Record.
6.2 By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
6.3 Paddle handles all payment transactions, invoicing, tax compliance, and billing-related customer support. Paddle may collect and process your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.
6.4 Codebox does not store or have access to your complete payment card details. All payment information is securely handled by Paddle in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
6.5 For billing inquiries or payment issues, you may contact Paddle directly or reach out to our support team for assistance.
7 Refund Policy
7.1 Codebox offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund.
7.2 To request a refund, contact our support team within 7 days of your purchase date. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.
7.3 Refunds are not available for:
- • Subscription renewals (you may cancel to prevent future charges)
- • Partial billing periods
- • Accounts terminated for violation of these Terms
7.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
8 Acceptable Use
8.1 You agree to use SendPit only for its intended purpose of email testing and development. You expressly agree not to:
- • Use the Service for sending production, marketing, or transactional emails to real recipients
- • Send or store emails containing malicious content, malware, spam, or illegal material
- • Attempt to access other users' emails, accounts, or data
- • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service through excessive requests or denial-of-service attacks
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- • Use the Service for any unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
- • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization
8.2 Codebox reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including suspension or termination of accounts.
9 Intellectual Property
9.1 The Service, including but not limited to the SendPit name, logo, software, design, graphics, user interface, and documentation, are the exclusive property of Codebox and are protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Codebox grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
9.3 You retain ownership of any content you transmit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Codebox a limited license to process and store such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
9.4 You may not use Codebox's or SendPit's trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
10 Data and Privacy
10.1 Your use of SendPit is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how Codebox collects, uses, and protects your information.
10.2 By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10.3 Test emails captured through the Service may be automatically deleted after a retention period as specified in your subscription plan.
11 Service Availability
11.1 Codebox strives to maintain high availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11.2 The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- • Scheduled maintenance (we aim to provide advance notice)
- • Emergency maintenance or security updates
- • Technical issues or third-party service disruptions
11.3 Codebox reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice when possible.
12 Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY - THIS SECTION LIMITS CODEBOX'S LIABILITY
12.1 AS-IS SERVICE: SendPit is provided by Codebox strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
12.2 NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CODEBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
12.3 MAXIMUM LIABILITY CAP: Codebox's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amounts paid by you to Codebox in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12.4 NO WARRANTIES: Codebox makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, or timeliness of the Service or any content.
12.5 DATA LOSS RISK: Using the Service involves inherent risks including potential data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access. You use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for backing up important data.
12.6 DEVELOPMENT PURPOSE: SendPit is designed for development and testing purposes only. Do not use for production systems or to transmit sensitive personal data.
13 Indemnification
13.1 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Codebox, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- • Your use or misuse of the Service
- • Your violation of these Terms
- • Your violation of any third-party rights
- • Any content you transmit through the Service
13.2 This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.
14 Termination
14.1 Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account through the account settings.
14.2 Termination by Codebox: Codebox reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including but not limited to violations of these Terms.
14.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination:
- • Your right to access and use the Service immediately ceases
- • Codebox may delete your account data without liability or obligation
- • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect
15 Force Majeure
Codebox shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemic, strikes, labor disputes, equipment failure, or interruptions of third-party services.
16 Governing Law
16.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16.2 You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
17 Dispute Resolution
17.1 In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Codebox.
17.2 If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal dispute resolution. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in accordance with applicable arbitration rules in India.
17.3 You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Codebox.
17.4 Any claim or cause of action you may have relating to these Terms or the Service must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim arises.
18 Severability and Entire Agreement
18.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18.2 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Codebox on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Codebox regarding the use of the Service.
18.3 The failure of Codebox to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
19 Changes to Terms
19.1 Codebox reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date.
19.2 For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through the Service interface.
19.3 Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
